Well I turn to you guys because there is a lot of knowledge on this forum. My father has a 08 E320 bluetec and absolutely hates the ipod integration. I know that getting a new headunit will be very difficult while using the same speakers. Who on here as upgraded the sound system at all? I know it uses fiberoptic wire for sound, is it possible to replace the stock headunit with a aftermarket headunit then replace all the door speakers and just run new wiring? Would that be the easiest way to upgrade the headunit?
