2200 lbs. and 685 hp. Are people just losing their minds?

An SLR engine in an SLK, a 685hp V8 in a 220 lb car; there must be some REALLY good drivers out there cause this is way above what I can handle.

 

That SLK is the real deal - I think msindi knows the guy that owns the car.

The hood cut out is pretty ugly on the SLK. Why couldn't they make a CF hood w a dome instead? I'd think the big engine would cause overheating issues in Dubai given the tight engine bay and lack of proper air flow. It's been posted before but someone must wonder why? SLR isn't that much longer and the interior is so much better.


Must have some big superchargers to make 685hp on a Corvette block. Ultima is a kit car which is bought w body only and then the distributor puts in the engine. It's really more of a race car that happens to be street lega like the Saleen S7.

 

I remember someone mentioning that it was a very good photoshop... don't know the facts...
