Two points. #1 I think that the 4.0 is an upgrade if responsiveness and speed is of importance to you. A vehicle with a "hot v turbo" set up is much more responsive than a conventional turbo set up and easier to tune if desired. If you research you will find that a stock F10 M5 and Audi RS7 will walk the E63 or Panamera Turbo. Sometimes I wish I could put my E55 motor in my PTT #2 The C63 will feel much more nimble and responsive which equates to fun, at least for me
. I don't know your budget but you may want to test drive the new C63 and add that to your list of possibilities

well, the car has 62k mi which is double what it should have, it has all the perf mods which means its been pushed to the max regularly, so I dont know how much life it has left
wait till some tuner like renntech finishes their 4.0 tuning and see if it doesnt out perform any 63 and youll be able to have a new car and better performance

Also, I can't imagine the new 4.0 liter M177 (even with a tune, downpipes, etc.) being able to come close in HP/TQ to a tuned M157. The AWD E63s is intriguing as the W204 has terrible traction. Although I did hear that the W205 coupe will have AWD. Bottom line is that my next car has to feel and be faster and not look like it's begging for a ticket.
P.S. 62K miles is not a lot for a 2009.
Thanks for the feedback. I am a little hesitant about not getting a N/A engine again. The modded M156 is so responsive and sounds even faster than it is. I want a sleeper that can trap 130+ mph (high 10's, low 11's) in the 1/4 but not attract attention like a Z06, GTR, etc.
