Hey guys, have a 2016 G63 AMG and the L rear window all of a sudden started sliding down when wife was trying to get it to go up. Driver and rear switches not working to bring it back up. Online search yielded window "reset" to hold the switch up for 30 seconds and then down for 30 sec which didn't help. Wife locked the car and went away for an hour, came back and tried again and nothing. Holding lock and unlock buttons on the key remotely will open and close all the windows except the L rear. Any other thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Sounds very much like the cable on the window mechanism has snapped or come off its pulleys. This isn't going to be a reset issue.

I see by the date of your post you probably have this solved already. I just saw it a minute ago.

 

Correct you are! The pulley seemed to get caught. Annoying but had to replace it. Thanks for your input!
