Are there any "must have" options?

 

No, navigation was not standard, nor were Bi-Xenons! Standard halogen's on this car - what was M-B thinking???

Absolute must-have options, IMO:

1. Bi-Xenon's (easy to tell is the car has them from the factory - look for headlamp washers)
2. 6-Disc CD Changer
3. Keyless Go

I could live without everything else, but here are some others I've found are worth the addition:

1. Premium package (two versions, one includes pano roof, one does not; both include active ventilated seats/Drive-Dynamic seats, CD changer, Nav, and power rear sunshade). Note: the pano roof was only available as part of the premium package.

2. Electronic trunk closer (nice convenience)

3. Sirius satellite radio

My dealer just had an 06 black E55 new for $74,000. I don't know what they were thinking because the car had almost NO options at all.

 

i know someone bought a e55 brand new left over 05 for 62.5k
no navi. no zenon. he upgraded the xenon though.
