I needed a SUV for my wife to haul around the kid and drycleaning and found this. I really can't decide if I like the looks of it. I will tell you that is a great car to drive and it is very comfortable. The rear seat ent is also very nice except for the corded head phones. It was on the lot with all the goodies except the lighting package Paid invoice which I think is a good deal. What do you guys think?

I love them. The looks...ehhh, but other than that, they are AWESOME! They have a decent amount of power, but the comfort is up there!

 

The rear end is ugly but the front is pretty good looking. The car drives like a dream. I wanted the Premier Edition but couldn't find one anywhere. I may find some PE wheels to put on the car because it looks so much better with those rims. 2thfixr do you want to part with your wheels?

 

Yes, the PE is very hard to find. As far as the styling goes, I completly agree with you! If you have any questions or anything, let me know! Shoot me the V.I.N. and on Monday I can check for recalls...assuming they already haven't been done.

Congrats! I have 7900 miles on mine so far and not a single problem. Now you know what I mean when I say that this thing drives like no other SUV out there. The one word to describe it is "smooth". Everything is buttery smooth and the best part is that it feels snappier than my wife's 05 S500. The one thing I might recommend is a Yakima or Thule aero roof box. I bought a 16 cubic foot box and I can easily put it on and remove it myself.

BTW, the only way that you could have my PE wheels is to pry them from my cold dead fingers! I like the look of the 20"s and the ride is just about perfect.

 

I just remembered. Kingtut put some 24"s on his PE and I'm pretty sure that he has his laying around. He mentioned that he may keep them for resale but maybe he changed his mind. Might be worth a PM.

 

i like them also, oneday if i have a big family I would def. get one.
3rd seat is such a huge plus for this car.
plus it looks good IMHO.

 

ill sell my 24s before i sell my stock 20's. ill sell you the 24s the first set made for the GL for $3,500 (you pay shipping)they have about 1,800 miles on them and they ride just like the stock 20s. my PE GL450 only has 2900 miles on it so far.

 

The PE wheels are the bomb!!!!! I got the appearance package with the 19's and there is such a difference in the way the PE wheels look. I paid invoice for the truck do you think that is a good deal? So far I love the truck just got back from a 800 mile trip and it is great on the road.
