As stated above, the GL's are alot better quality then the ML's. Performance is very suprising. The diesel gets great mpg and is also quite suprising. Alot of the mercedes get the srs warning lamp on due to the cabin pressure confusing a sensor when shutting the door, theres also a wiring modification thats common too. None are big deals and are easy fixes. All the new mercedes did away with trans dipsticks, but brought back the oil dipstick rather then the cluster built in oil level. Tire wear is the biggest complaint. The tires that come on it last 15k at best because there light truck tires on a very heavy suv. So get some REAL truck tires. Great vehicles other than that.
