Hi guys-
Wondering if anyone knows anything about this car or dealer? Also, gimme your opinion on body mods and their long-term effect good or bad on resale etc.

One more thing... any of you guys in Miami that can go by and put a "car-guy" eyeball on this thing and give me some good feedback?? I'd sure appreciate it

I checked out the listing from the link you had posted on MBWorld, One word of caution for you: With all of the cooling issues of the 55 Kompressor motors i would be weary of a 1st year CL55, yes that one is unique with the body kit but you are basically *** out with no factory warranty on a motor that could potentially give problems. FYI i am also in the market for a used CL Benz.

Love the wheels, not into those front fenders, doesnt seem to fit the lines of the car.
I have heard similar things about being leary of the first gen kompressor superchargers. I was looking at 2003 E55's and was told the same thing.

In Miami, and I know the Fomula 1 folks. They have been around for a loooong time in the high end sport car sales business. Never have bought anything from them, but that doesn't mean much. With the used car market its a lot of hit and miss. You're taking a chance that someone rolled back the miles. I have done it several times to my Mercedes's. Sorry but its just the honest truth and they where leased. You are gonna see a lot of these pop up because of the new CL model....just remember, buyer beware. Good luck.

I appreciat your candor! How does one go about rolling an electronic digital speed-o back? or are you talking about the old school mechanical ones?

Don't think I would incriminate myself to a stranger online so can't comment on the details...no offense please. Lets just say it happens a lot here locally. As for the dealership they have lots of nice cars, just drove by them the other day. Just be carefull.....good luck with your shopping.

The fenders dont fit well - look at the seem between the front bumper and the fenders in the first front-end shot.
Wheels are decent, but there could be much nicer ones.
Rear bumper looks like that on my Honda when I was in High School...

I'd opt for a newer stock one.

Wyatt- good eye on the fenders... I'm done with that car. it was pretty cool at the offset but after thinking about it, it would be REALLY hard to resale or trade-in. Thanks for the thoughts
