pulled the trigger on my dream car today!!

OK enough of watching you guys buy toys! I have been negotiating back and for the last few days on a "new" car: Mercedes Benz 2005 CL600 11k miles black/charcoal fully loaded, the car stickered for 138K new, full benz warranty to 100k miles. Its not in my hands yet but should be on a truck by mon or tues of next week. The car has an interesting history that I found out today. I was under the impression that the car was modified by RENNtech as it was advertised to have had an upgraded ECU/TCU, per the people that modified the vehicle they sent it to (insert name I cant remember but will dig it up) since they dont normally do german cars, this person supposedly builds cars for manufacturers and other corporations for SEMA. The ECU/TCU were shipped to Germany to AMG/Mercedes Benz Racing Division to be tuned, if the ECU is plugged into Mercedes Benz Star Diagnosis it will say that its a CL600/AMG ?!?!? The car is making more than stock, but it has two weird conflicting dyno sheets so Ill list the one with the conservative numbers until I can get it here and do my own dyno testing: 494 RWHP 572 RWTQ I will post some of my own pics once its in my hands.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, I looked at the 65's and my biggest selling point was a benz warranty, all the 65's that are CPO'ed are 97k+ I got CL65 power and saved $27K

Congrats. I've always liked the looks of the former CL class and it looks like you got a nice one at the right price. Just wondering if you drove both the 600 and the 55 for comparison?
