Nope - it was a 996. But just got back from racing a new 997TT!! 1st race was even up to 100mph then I pulled away from him. 2nd race was pretty even up to about 110mph with him starting ahead of me from about 30mph.

Wow - we talked afterwards - pretty nice guy. Couldnt believe I even tried to run him...then really couldnt believe when I passed him!! Funny thing is...it was red! What's with red Porsches??!! Thats 2 red Porsches so far! HEHE!

Did you order it straight from them or send it to renntech after you bought the 65 stock??

What did it end up costing you total?

congrats...it's ridiculous..best car out there right now..

The car was new with 80 miles on it - Renntech Mods already on the car when I bought it. Got it from a dealer who specializes in Renntech. Total Price was over $200k - I know its steep but I think its worth every penny! For what I paid I almost considered an F430... funny thing is that this car will get to 150mph quicker then that (even if it was stock) and have all the luxury features to boot (and I didnt really need another sports car) so I figured this was the best of both worlds!
