Its good that you went for the 65, the S63 is not worth it and with the Renntech upgrades, It sure is capable of exceeding the 155mph topspeed which is restricted from factory.

Congrats.

Out of interest why did you get rid of the viper over any of the other cars you could have traded in? Did you not like it?

Josh.

1st off - Viper was free & clear so I had the most equity in that car to use towards the Benz. 2nd - loved the Viper but not a good daily driver compared to my 996TT - overall I love the 996TT much more then I did the Viper. Of course the Viper was quicker with over 1000hp under its hood but I'd take the driving characteristics of the Porsche over the Dodge anyday.

The Viper handling, steering at high speeds, normal every day in and out of traffic, doesn't come close to a 996TT. It feels very rigid compared to the 996TT.

From my personal experience with both, I would love a 1400TT Viper, but don't know if I could deal with it every day.

*The Viper I've driven DIDN'T have 1400HP but just a standard SRT10*

I doubt that your 996TT will hang with it.
My CL55 with a pulley is a good bit faster than my 996TT was and my CL is only making 450 rwhp.
Of course I could be wrong, I've only seen 145 and you did say 170.

My 996TT is not stock - if it was Id agree with you . I already ran a 997TT and pulled away from it after 105mph! But my 996TT is 600hp and has a 1400lb weight advantage - so I think it will be closer then you think - Ill post video soon!

I want to see that Saleen get a wicked twin turbo or single turbo pushing 900+rwhp!

The body lines on the Saleen are just so smooth and has a nice stance.
