i dont have one, but if i were to add an SUV (which i considered doing many times), G500/G55 is the only one i would consider. it is so sexy and classic looking!

We were considering getting one, but apparently they have a lot of issues. For example, windows staying up and not coming down, and vice versa.

On a $80,000 car, this is unacceptable.

Riden in my buddies many times. Lots of headroom And the sound of the motor is niiice too.

I think nice 02's and 03's can be had for the sub-50k range right now...with newer/lower mile ones for about 60ish.

Very cool truck tho - nothing on the road like it

A lot Mercedes' models (S class especially) from late 01-03 have endured some sort of electrical problems.
But windows staying up is that really a major issue? Your next door mechanic can fix that up easily.

The car itself is great, go for the G55 Kompressor if you can, you will love it.
2002-2004 models go for less than $50K in good condition these days.
Great car.

I had an '03 G55 modified by Kleemann for 3 years. Never had any problems, it was a great truck.

haven't we done this before?

Here's mine....(5.8 Brabus conversion with Kleemann supercharger, dual side pipes (flowmasters), Brabus 20's, Brabus brakes, suspension, interior, etc.)

I also had an '05 Brabus G55 that I sold because I liked my G Cabriolet better.

Silversurfer,

I had the Kleemann G55 that was in Car and Driver. I saw your's while it was with Kleemann in Colorado Springs. One of my favorites!

thanks man, definitely one of a kind. Never seen any other Gcab like it. I'll keep it forever, if the engine ever goes south on me, I'll do a 55Kompressor transplant.
