A friend of mine had a similar experience. He was in his M3 when a guy threw something at his car (from the right side). The guy then leaned out of his window to say yell something at him, and my friend through a CD like a frisbee and hit him in the face.
He then sped off.

Ditto, in these discussions I always say the same thing about letting it go. In real life, I end up getting all pissed, fired up, and ready to hurt someone. It's hard to let some people go.
In my Lotus, I had a lady in an SUV drive up in front of me in the lane over, and poor her Coca Cola out trying to get it all over my car. She missed.
Then she threw the can itself. She missed. Then she threw another one that was FULL. She missed, but it his another car. The other car didn't do a thing.
I was livid, but in the little Elise vs. an Expedition, I didnt want to mess around w/ her.

?
Two real choices. Drive like an idiot and, considering what you are driving, just get away from the lunatic or do what others suggested and pull into right lane and drive like a little old lady prepared to call the police. The older I get, the more I realize being tough isn't worth being shot at (which happens more often than we like to believe). Remember, guys driving F250s don't care as much about damaging their cars as you probably care about avoiding that happening to yours.
