Carmel, thanks for the write-up. Question about the tranny, does it rev-match on downshifts and what's the lag (if any) on the upshifts? Sorry for the ignorance, MB's are off my radar for ownership, but is the BS still a torque converter based auto or sequential? I know you haven't owned any F1/SMG cars but maybe you've driven a few to compare...

dammit you lucky bastard! after your trip to down town ATL can you swing by my house in cali? lol. nice write up now i want one even more than before. maybe if i trade in all 3 of my cars i can get one.

I like this car alot. Thanks for the review. One thing I love about Mercedes is that they will have a marvel of an engine and stick an auto in it, in a way pompously exclaiming that it can whoop some *** without inconveniencing the driver with flappy paddles or a standard gearbox. That's what I call a suave kick in the nuts, with utmost elegance, lol.
