I've actually heard the setup in person. Everything is flawless and the Aperion's are very good for this price as well.

 

I would be willing to ship the receive anywhere, if anyone just wants that. The speakers would need to be local pickup...

Decided to sell my entire surround sound package - Rotel 1055 receiver, Aperion Audio 6.1 speaker setup with 12" subwoofer (setup only for 5.1, 6.1 could be added with an extra amp), and a full set of high-end Tara Labs cabling for the speakers and power cable for the woofer. Also have some other miscellaneous Tara Labs cables and Rotel stuff that could be added to the package.

This will provide you with everything you need to get a really high quality surround sound setup for your home theater. The combination of Rotel, Tara Labs, and Aperion makes for a very detailed, neutral, and smooth sound. The sub hits down to 20Hz at even sound levels before dropping off, which is great for a sub at this price point, and the mains keep the sound clean and detailed above reference levels.

The speakers are cherry, the receiver is silver with black accents, and the cabling is off-white. Stands are included for the mains and the surrounds - they are black two-post speaker stands.

If you are interested, all the stuff is still set up in my place in Palo Alto, I'd be more than happy to demo to serious buyers. The price is somewhat firm, but I am open to reasonable offers. No trades, sorry!
