lol. Yeah, that was crazy. The place I worked at had a presentation at Activision like 3 weeks after the PS2 launched to become their agency of record. They were super impressed when I said that I had a PS2, it definitely let them know we (well, at least one) of us were into video games and we got them as a client. Of course, that didn't make the least bit of difference to my wallet since I was basically fired / laid off 3 months later.

I can't believe that's when dreamcast was launched. It doesn't seem like that was that long ago. That's when Hurley launched as well.

 

That looks great on paper. We'll see what the final version of the PS3 actually has.

 

i guess man, from what i've heard, every place is sold out in my area....

in my opinion xbox is better than playstation all around, but i've always had p/s and love their games...thats why i'm selling the xbox...

1st off... where is this ps3 you speak of.
2nd of all, are these the specs for the base xbox 360 or for the premium, because i noticed you didnt mention anything about the harddrive. etc.
btw- what is with ps3's 7 wireless controllers? couldnt they make it an even number?!

You guys are on drugs if you think that the 360 is going to be NEARLY as available as the PS2 was. As someone mentioned, they were able to get 50+ PS2's into a local Target ... and now you will see less than 10 360's coming, on average, to any retail store.

The demand for the 360 will be very, very high. The pre-orders through EB Games were sold out in most places back in August / September.

All of the new playstation games are supposed to be set up to play on only one Playstation. You are not going to be able to trade games with a friend. Seems like a bad Idea but increases sales for the software.
