LOL... I wonder if there will really be that much of a problem getting one by XMAS. I already have one coming in, but it seems like the PS2 had a lot more hype around release date.

 

^^ plus they only brought in 1/2 as many as they were originally planning. I woke up early that day and decided to go get one, i was 51 of 52 people that got one at the target store by me. If I was smart, I would have planned on that and put it on ebay to end that day. People made loads of cash. Right after that is when ebay started their "Buy it now" deal.

I don't see the 360 being such a problem. Go to a ghetto or more low-budget toys r us and there will be stacks of them

BTW: I played one at Best Buy the other day and OH MY, the graphics are good. wow. I can't imagine how good the ps3 is going to be since it's supposed to be 2 or 3x as good as the 360.

 

PS3 is not going to be x2 or x3 times better. Lots of smoke...which I guess is working.

 

It's going to be x1,000,000,000 times better!!! They use a special flux capacitor, which gives them crazy clock speeds.

I had my PS2 pre-odered, but I stayed in line at a Target overnight for a friend that couldn't, because he was sick. I should have sold it for a good profit :-p

I was most hyped about the Dreamcast's launch, I still remember it's release 9/9/99... and what a flop
