Rolex Daytona

Hi all,

I have a brand new Rolex SS White face Daytona for sale. Never worn. I promised the wife I would sell it since she let me purchase my C4S. I would prefer to sell it locally . I paid approx. $8,900. I have all the paper works and reciepts . You can even call the jeweler to confirm my purchase. PM me if you are interested.

rolex

I purchased it a few months ago so would assume it's this years movement. One way to check is to look up the ID# on the watch.

I bought it at Shrieve in S.F. They are a authorized rolex dealer. You can find their number in the listing.

NO!! List is like $6000.00. The Daytona is very difficult to get. Browse ebay and you will see them all selling for $9300-$10,000. $8900 is a good price. In order to get this watch, you either pay up, or are on a list. A list that typically only consists of the Dealers best customers(purchases of $100k+ of merchandise.

Alex, don't mean to tell you what to do, but, I would definately keep it. This has been a hot watch for 20 years. It only is going to continue to appreciate IMO. if you get really strapped for cash, you will be able to unload that thing in a second. I have to think a dealer will buy that watch wholesale from you for at least $8600, probably more, and that is a reseller. As the price of the Daytona goes up, your watch will be worth more and more. Not to mention, in my entire life, I have never seen anyone actually wearing a SS Daytona. I have seen solid gold, my friend had one, but never SS. This is a testament to the rarity and exclusivity of this watch.

The Daytona Chronograph line has always been popular and held value well. This is the case in SS, two-tune, solid gold, white gold with leather strap,,etc. All Daytonas hold value. They are not produced in high numbers. A late 1960's Daytona with Paul Newman dial just broke a record for a watch sold at auction for the highest price ever. Something like $360k!! Anyway, I guess I didn't really answer your question but, to me it is so popular because it looks better than any watch I have ever seen!!
