I am 90% sure I am taking this and cash in trade for my Sonata. I don't really want this watch, but the trade was a good one so I decided to take some cash off the table and try my luck selling this one instead. I will physically have the watch on Sunday. It is in used, but very good condition, e.g. no major scratches or dings but not completely perfect.

yup, 44mm. It is the perpetual version of IWC's in-house 5000 series movement with Pellaton winding system...one of the best automatic movements in existence with a very long, 7-day power reserve.

ok, i just picked the watch up. It is way more beatiful than I imagined and also completely wearable despite the 44mm size (usually too big for me). The condition is as described, worn but in good shape.

It has box, papers, a brand new strap and the extra years disc that allows it to tell time perfectly for 500 years.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting to like it and be able to wear it. I'm in much less of a hurry to sell it than I thought i would be. That being said, it is still for sale at $19,500 and I am somewhat flexible.

 

i've gotten a few firm offers around the 15-16k range. That is too low for me right now. Come on guys, this watch is awesome!

Some cool features:

7 day power reserve: let it sit for a week without having to wind it/wear it

All functions are set via the crown: no messing with pushers like most perpetuals

Instant date chage: the hand does not rotate constantly between day/date/month like most perpetuals, everything snaps to the next one instantly at midnight (with a really cool "click")
