What do you mean by "push-pull" version? I'm new to this whole photography thing...

Also is this colored for a digital or film camera?

When I say Push-Pull version I mean: you push and pull to zoom in and out...The lense features ED glass, which is Nikon's highest quality glass. Also, the lense works with both digital and film camera's...I used it with my d200 and could not find a flaw.

Push/pull is usually used to describe this particular version of the 80-200 f/2.8. It simply means that there is one large ring that you push/pull to zoom and rotate to focus. The newer version of this lens has a two ring setup with built in tripod collar where you twist one ring to zoom and twist another to focus. Many say that the single ring push/pull is the sharpest version of this lens even when compared to the current 70-200 f/2.8 VR lens. You can't go wrong with this lens, it's considered to be one of Nikon's finest.
