feeler: decked out x60 with dock
Thinking of selling my laptop (dont need a portable over summer).
It is a ThinkPad X60
This is the highest possible configuration short of an extra 2gb ram (bringing it up to 4)
SPECS:
2.0ghz Core 2 Duo 4MB Cache
120GB HD
Thinkpad A/B/G/N Wireless
Verizon Wireless WAN
Bluetooth
2GB Ram
8 Cell Battery (I've gotten 6-7 hours easily with wireless on)
FEATURES:
Integrated fingerprint reader
SD Slot
PC Card slot
IR port
3 USB
1 Firewire
Shock mounted hard drive
Magnesium Case
Active protection (g-meter)
All the ThinkVantage toys (management suite for connectivity, frequent system updates, protection, etc)
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...DAD8E72CF6FD61
etc
etc
etc
ALSO:
I have a port replicator for it. It houses a DL DVDRW, lock, 4 usb ports, headphone/microphone jacks, serial, phone/eithernet jacks, as well as VGA
Software:
I have Vista Business installed on this laptop (can switch out for XP) as well as Office 2007 Enterprise (every office app) both are full legal versions. The laptop is silly fast. I regularly run an office app or two, a photo editing program, firefox, and chat all at the same time without any hickups (in fact im doing i right now)
Condition:
Pristine. I baby this thing. Only I use it. It goes in and out of a padded Tumi bag. I wipe it with laptop cleaning wipes. It rocks.
price?
Without the office suite (which I did not get from lenovo) the current msrp of the laptop is 2,808 (w/o tax).
Ill entertain reasonable offers.
I am in Bloomington, IN right now...I can drive up to Indy or Chicago if anyone wants to look at it.
I will post pics shortly.
shoot me an email at gary at sheynk dot com with any questions or concerns

Gary,
Here's the bottom line with me. I was about to pull the trigger on a Dell 420 (X60 direct competitor), but I am very interested in your system. I prefer the Lenovo over Dell, but it is much more money. (I also wanted the Sprint EVDO card, but VZW will work OK).
A couple questions:
1. What is the age of the notebook?
2. Is the warranty transferrable?
3. How much warranty is left?
4. what is a fair price for the whole package?
