I know carfax monitors some forums. Whoever carfax's this vin may get their account cancelled since they've probably marked the vin if they monitor this forum. (unless you open a new account). I know they watch e46 forums and craigslist.

Carfax is such a scam I don't feel they deserve the courtesy of 'fair treatment'...
Sure it violates there TOS, but they knowingly deceive buyers (see the class action lawsuit) in their marketing....
I'd say a report is worth $2.
