Curry's Clash is happening again on April 5th

If anyone attended the last Curry's clash like 6 or so years ago, you know there was a HUGE turnout. I recall seeing quite a few 996s that day.

Anyone going?

Looks cool. I did a dyno for charity day there a few years ago with PCA. AWE was there with there car and display truck. Was a good time.

Alex, you need to put that beast on the dyno!

I did, but will do it again since I got my new clutch. We noticed pre-stage 2 clutch that it was slipping on dyno. Also, it is a PITA to dyno my car, they have to rip out my front bumper just to tie it down beause of the front lip and being lowered.

Did AWE Stage 2 with lightweight flyweel. I actually let Curry's do this install. My tech moved to Harrionsburg...too far for me.

Nice! How were they to work with? They did my PSS9's as well. It was a little more expensive than some other places, but I thought they did a good job.

Curry's did a wonderful job in all honesty. I love how they just take care of everything. They order parts, etc for you and don't even expect you to "prepay", just basically pay after the work is done.

Jonathan is from Harrisonburg and was commuting to Nova for work. He found a beter gig at Charlottesville Porsche which is closer to his home. I'm happy for him but sad for my Turbo...oh well life goes on I guess.

Cohare, Curry's is right by Dulles Airport. I know it's quite a hike for you, but you will have a good time if this is as good as the first "clash".

Currys has done a great job organizing this event. It should be a winner.

We plan on being there again this year.

Please spread the word! This would also be a great opportunity for a spring 6speed meet in general.

Not really. I recall having stuff done to both the E55 and M6. M6 for example, Sterling BMW made me prepay for the Dinan stuff before even taking my car in (pretty typical of all dealers). As for "tuning shops", I don't know of any tell you "the part is here, come on and drop off the car". Most, if not all, will make you pay for the "special order" part first...at least that has been my experience. I actually enjoyed my experience with Curry's, Jon Koford is an awesome dude, so is Chris Coulter (spelling?). They just make you feel at home and if you don't like something done to the car, they even offered, we'll take it out and refund you 100%. Great service actually. Perhaps they can do this since they are so much more established than most tuning shops around here.

Nice, I'll probably have them do my clutch, once it goes.
