7/27/08 We will start at the parking lot in front of La Madeline restaurant in Rockville @ 10:15 AM, leave promptly @ 10:30 AM and drive to the Bay Bridge. We will continue to the other side of the bridge and and stop at The Crab Deck for crabs, seafood, beer etc. This will be an exciting fun run ending with an awesome lunch that overlooks the water. I urge you to bring your wives/significant others as this will be a fun time for all. This will be an all you can eat crab feast which will include a buffet that will provide salad, hamburgers, hot dogs etc. I will also have "event t-shirts" for sale at an inexpensive price, 100% of the proceeds will go to cancer research. Once I have the proof for the t-shirt design I will post it here. We will be traveling as a group over the Bay Bridge, we will all go through the EZ-Pass lane as to not hold up our caravan, you can pay the toll online once they snap your tag and send it to you in the mail.

Update: Menu layout and pricing details-
The menu looks like this: Crab Deck Crab Feast and Buffet served in the traditional Eastern Shore Style right on the water's edge overlooking the beautiful Kent
Narrows. Our wait staff will serve hot steamed crabs to your table and remove the discarded crab shells.

The crab feast also includes a buffet:

a) Fried/grilled/barbecue chicken
b) Grilled hamburgers and hot dogs - with assorted rolls and condiments sliced cheese, sliced onions and sliced tomatoes includes:
- Coleslaw
- Fresh corn on the cob
- Roasted Red Potatoes
- Ice tea, sodas, lemonade and coffee

The price on the above feast is $34.99 per guest – All YOU CAN EAT
Children ages 5 to 11 are half price and children 4 and under are free.

I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but traffic on a Sunday coming back over the bridge could be pretty ugly. Why not do it on Saturday the 26th?

 

Mario youre such a dick. Just playing man. I picked Sunday for two reasons, there is already a meet on that Sat, and rental traffic runs Sat to Sat and you run the risk of traffic going both ways. Worse case scenario if we did encounter traffic it would be just a little bit going over the bridge on the way back, but once you get over the bridge the traffic is usually flowing well. Now come on and join us for some crabs and beers man

 

I consider traffic jams to be great opportunities for Photos...

She sounds like a cool lady then, bring her as well. I am bringing my fiancee and other are bringing their significant others/wives etc. We have a few F-Cars coming. I have the large room reserved which accommodates 200+ people, there will be crabs and a buffet for those that dont eat seafood.
