Race gas???

Where are folks getting there race gas locally. I have been told there is a place in Manassas that has VP products but can not locate them on the web.

VP or Sunoco is what I'm looking for.

I know a guy who is a distributor of the stuff in the motorcycle world (in the area...). I'm waiting for him to write back to me... Hang tight.

Not cheap and not local (Glen Burnie), but it is a source within reasonable distance.

I believe you are not supposed to put race gas in a FI car.

not true. Most "tuned" turbo porsches have a specific race file set in the ECU for race gas. Knowing that Gunther's car is Protomotive tuned, I'd bet it has 91/93 and a race gas file.

My guy says he can get whatever you need, but he'd need a decent sized order if you want it before the spring (offseason for bikes now...). PM me what you need and I'll put you in touch with him.

You got it right Maxwell. Now that I have had this tune for 2 years I would like to try the race gas program. To quote Todd "The car comes alive with race gas". Not to mention a nice boost in horsepower.

Thanks to the other with recomendations as well. I will PM soon.

Ahmad I'm looking for unleaded 103 to 109 octane from either VP or Sunoco. A 30 gallon drum would be ideal. I'm going to try running just race gas from now on so I can get into the high boost setting and keep it there
