89 slant nose radio upgrade - need a good vendor

I am interested in hearing recommendations for a quality supplier and installer of car stereo components that I can give to a work associate who just purchased an 89 slant nose. He lives in Great Falls, VA, so ideally something in the local Northern Virgina/Maryland/Washington, DC are would best, and the closer to Great Falls/McLean the better. Any advise as to who would do a great job (and also who to stay away from!) would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sound Solutions in Chantilly does pretty good work. My friend had a few different cars that he took to them. They are expensive though. In my opinion keep it as cheap as possible, audio stuff always gets outdated.

You might try calling 'Adam' at Sante Fe Auto Sound (913) 649-8500 here in Kansas City. Obviously he won't be able to assist with an install but he knows the accoustics of these older 911s well and has assisted us numerous times and I'm always amazed at how well the cars come out sounding. He will be able to point you in the right direction as far as which components to go with and where he recommends installing them. He's a good guy and always a big help, Good luck and happy holidays!

There's a place called Hurley's???? I believe in Tyson's/McLean/Great Falls area. My friend owns a high line car dealer in the same building and whenever I stop by to visit him I see that store installing stereo equipment in Porsche's, Ferrari's, etc. It's located next to the Versailles furniture store. If you can't find them online, PM me and I'll try to get their contact info for you. G/L and have him post up some pix of the final product. Slant noses are gorgeous!!!
