Was it exotic-day yesterday?

As I was driving to work past Tysons on 495, saw a beautiful silver AM DB9 (going 60mph in the left lane ) and then on my way home, I saw a very clean black Galardo getting off 66 onto 495 heading towards Tysons...then when I got off the highway in Rockville, there was a Maserati Quattroporte which just seemed tame in comparison to the rest of the cars I saw...

Guess it was probably the nice weather...

Yep. Nice weather, my car got out yesterday and served as a commuter. Haven't driven it in 3 weeks. Thought it would be nice to do so and it was. I took the long way home through the Clara Barton Parkway, to McCarthur to falls Rd. I love that stretch in Great Falls that's all twisty. Too bad I had slow people in front but it was fun to drive the car none the less., I guess others had the same idea. I saw 4 911's and at least that many boxsters/caymans on my drive home.

Oops, not exotic but nice eye candy to see so many P-cars out yesterday.

After the last stop sign on McArthur I usually slow down to like 5-10mph (coincidentally absolutely pissing everyone off behind me) for about a mile to let the cars get a good lead...depending on how slow they are going, you can usually make it half way up the hill before you have to slam on your brakes. I too really enjoy that short stretch of twisties....its a lot of fun when you can do it with no traffic..lots of challenging corners there...

I see Porsches every day on my commute on 495...hate to say it, but they are nothign special

If you want challenging corners, come do Clifton Run. My little MCS wants to spank your mighty M3.

My local favorite is rt 619 between 234 and rt1. Clifton Run is a nice road though.

I saw a woman that looked to be around 55ish, driving an E92 M3 earlier in the week. I was like come on, are you serious?
