Yo, I thought of this idea 2 years ago but had no idea how to implement it, but I'm glad someone did it anyway......Check this out......Would be great for rallies and all around "Spirited Runs" and/or daily drives.....

http://www.phantomalert.com/

I'm downloading it as well for my Garmin.......don't know if can download for factory GPS units.....

Berk, that site requires a subscription. I have the one from POI Factory which requires just a donation. It seems to have all the cameras I'm aware of. On my Garmin it gives you a nice proximity alert as you approach the location. The problem is my unit is a 2720 StreetPilot which is about three years old and is larger than the one's you buy today so I don't use it all that often.

For those interested click here.

Yes, just go to the site and find the red light/speed camera POI file link. Downloading it requires a donation. After you do that download the file and upload to your unit using the POI loader from Garmin.
