Open Track Interest? Summit Point Friday At The Track Schedule

I am getting the itch to get on the track more often this season. I am registering for 2 open track events in June. Summit PCA DE, and Watkins Glen PCA DE. Looking to get more of you guys out on the track with me Chris and Ken, if we can get his back worked on and him back in the drivers seat.

If it will take baby steps to get you on the track then start here at Summit's Friday at the Track (FATT). One day, $250 +/- many instructor driven runs. Fridays. This seasons schedule is here. With enough notice, I plan to hit up a few of these this summer, and will redirect my dates if some of you want to go up, but just not alone.

Once you do an open track session, you won't look back at the all day parking lot cone chasing. I still like to do cones when time permits for the quick fix, but nothing beats open track.

FATT schedule and info.

Scott - I think I'm going to joint his season as well. May is no good b/c of Fiscal Year end close at work, but June is looking good. Let us know which ones you, Chris and Ken are attending.

I'm interested but I since I'm having knee replacement surgery on May 18th, I don't think I'll be ready until July.

Mitch, I am signing up on PCA for Summit the first weekend in June. Don't be shy. If you've never done the track, thats fine and good actually. You will learn the right way to drive from the start with an instructor. I am also signing up for the PCA in PA at Watkins Glen track. Inlaws live about 45 min. away so it works to my advantage to do this awesome track finally. Family gets a bonus too. If you have the time and funds, lets do it.

Berk, I will be dpoing the two weekends in June stated above. Wait out the hot July and August and do just the FATT during those months, then hit a couple more full weekenders in Sept. Oct.

Ken, I hear ya. You and Mitch will have a blast in those little rockets. Warm up on an August FATT to get prepped for a weekender in the Fall.

Scott I promise to be out to 90% of the meets this year. I'm off to CA next week, car should be here in the next two weeks or so, man I can't wait!

Berk sorry I couldn't call you, we need to catch up brother - I've been swamped.

Ken I hear you have the SS kit in the Exige how is it over stock?

Sorry for going OT

Hey Feff, I remember we connected about the Watkins Glen run about 3 months ago. May do it with your group after doing it in June. And your Sept. Summit run is also very tempting. July and August are way too hot for sitting at the track for a weekend and I don't have a Winebago to chill in.

The short-shifter is awesome... Some think it's a little hard to shift on the shortest setting... I don't agree... I really like the feel...

Nope, it's not a beast, it's the Blue Meanie...
