I am thinking of getting the PSE put in my 997.1 without the on-off switch. Before I make the plunge, I would like to hear the difference between the PSE and stock muffler in person.

So, if anybody will willing and able to meet me some where who has the PSE, I would appreciate it very much. I live near Columbia or Ellicott City, MD.

Harvey - it's not LOUD by any means, but it's got a nice throaty ring to it. I installed the PSE on my Boxster WITHOUT the on-off switch as well. The one thing to consider is the flap that turns the PSE Sport Sound on and off does get stuck at times when I ride the car HARD. I have the Fabspeed bypass pipes on my 996 C4S though, now that's loud. G/L and looking forward to meeting you at one of the future events.
