For you that may not know... Berk and I are neighbors.

Berk owns a 996 4S that has a muffler bypass on it. Each and every time he started his car in his garage it would reverberate through my house, especially my kitchen, and my plates, cups and such would almost walk out of the cabinets. The below picture comes to my mind when Berk starts his P car at times.

Picture a person sprinting down stairs and taking the stance similar to what is pictured below.





Not to worry... Berk has a little boy named Brandon and I know Brandon and I are just dying to let loose one evening about midnight when the neighborhood is nice and calm. We will see just what types of mischief a bunch of screaming cars and babies can do to the nerves of a Dad at midnight on a school night.

 

Too funny Alan. My wife and I always try to idle the Porsche onto our street so that we don't **** the neighbors off.

The best thing to do would be to offer to watch the little guy so Berk and the Mrs. can have a night out. Load him up on all things sugary, then send him home!

I can laugh about this because it seems my in laws have done this to us a few times.

 

Heck with sugar. Red Bull is what you need Two of those and a candy bar.

 

LOL, sugar night is perfect! I'm going to break Brandon in right, get him some toys that make all kinds of noise, maybe buy him like 25 air horns with like 30 bags of freaking sugar daddys.

I still have factory exhaust on my C4 so I need to hear just how loud this is. I may have t consider this mod as well.

 

Funny guys! I know that I'm going through a mid life crisis because I want my car to be as loud and obnoxious as possible. You can never **** off the neighbors enough. Bring it on Berk!!!!! You can't bring anything louder than what my neighbors have already been subjected to. There is a guy who lives down the street from me that has a tubed Nova that is pretty nasty. I thinks after three years my neighbors have gotten used to the B&B exhaust!

 

B&B Bullets on my last couple Corvettes. Loved them - especially on the 427 w no cats and Kooks headers. Nothing like trying to "sneak" out of your driveway on a Wed AM at 0530 w a car shaking like a paint can mixer and a set of B&B Bullets. You're lucky to not set off the alarm of the car parked next to ya!

 

Just take the mufflers off. Sure you won't have exhaust tips anymore and there will be a void, but it's the easiest way to make your 996 that more enjoyable. 6 bolts, 2 clamps, and you're done.
