Skyline Run is back for 2010!

This is a Mid-Atlantic driving event. The Skyline Run events are quickly growing in popularity and originate in the m3post.com Mid-Atlantic forum. While planned in a e90/92 M3 forum, all European sport and super cars are welcome.

Registration is capped at 30 cars for this event and as of the 27th, there's 15 slots left.

It was nice meeting you today. We should talk more about going on this run with some of the local guys.

 

I have not been on this run before. Just want to express some caution that the Park police has become leary of large groups of cars entering the Skyline drive. Last video I have seen from some group last year they were stopped and chased by Park police numerous times.

 

This time we're not going on Skyline Drive, we're going up mountain roads of VA/WV. We did do a little bit of Skyline Drive in the last two runs and haven't had any problems. You gotta know where it's ok to speed and where it isn't. Everyone should know you don't speed on Skyline Drive

 

I just realized I already have plans on the 10th that I can't change. I guess I won't be going on this

 

Looks like a fun time but I will not be able to make it as I will be on the Autobahn heading towards Belgium

Been doing Skyline on motorcycles for almost 10 years now... Never been up and over in the S before... would be a blast I'm sure!

 

So how'd it go?

 

Great! Had about 25 cars, 22 of them were BMW Ms (M3, M Coupe, M5). I'll post pictures tomorrow and there'll be an edited video in a few weeks.
