Need a little help

So I finally bought a 912 from Washington state and had it shipped here. The broker gave me an estimated date of delivery of 21 May. My job in the Air Force requires I travel and I scheduled my travel around the delivery date.

Well the driver just called today and told me he will be in VA tomorrow to deliver it. I am not in town and don't get back until Wed. afternoon. I was wondering if Ivan is listening or if anyone has his contact info? I wanted to ask if he would receive the car at the shop tomorrow and I'll pick it up on Wed. Thanks!

With Ivan, it might very well go in as a 912 and come out as a 930 .

Sorry that I didn't see this earlier Travis. I would have helped you out buddy. You are in good hands with Ivan though. I have my Audi S4 at his shop right now too. I can't wait to see your car.

Well I'm still in ATL today and the driver of the truck said he will deliver tomorrow. It's funny because his dispatch gave me an estimated delivery date of 21 May so guess what, I scheduled my business travel around the estimate. I applaud his early arrival but if his dispatch would have communicated my travel schedule or if the driver called me and just asked, he would have discovered I was out of town.

I'm not exactly sure how the auto transport companies stay in business by operating like this. Customer service, communication and PLANNING seems to be a foreign concept to these guys. Ah well.

Planning and transport? Ha!

Can't wait to see your twin turbo'd 912 come out of the shop.

What year is it?
