Hey what's more fun the Viper or that Mustang you got there?
Sometimes I think my SRT8 is more fun...

The Shelby and the Viper are both a ton of fun, kinda hard to pick as it's like saying which of your kids do you like more. The Shelby is an easy car to drive everyday, comfortable, 2 fingers on wheel etc. The Viper is a car you (as you know) have to drive and stay focused on driving, with both hands sometimes. Harder to relax in the Viper. For a romp on back roads, the Viper has the edge although the Shelby does amazingly well for a rigid rear axle car. On broken pavement both cars can punish and on the open highway both want to do 100+, they seem to just be pulling on the bit to go faster. Both have huge torque starting from 1200-1500 rpms but the Viper hooks up more easily with the bigger meat on the road. I like the sound of the Shelby more than the Viper but only by a little bit. The Viper can draw crowds which is not always a positive factor although I was surprised at how many people come over to the Shelby at shows too. So the bottom line I guess is they are equally fun but in different ways.

Very cool! I love the Shelby!
Mustang has gotten so darn nice these last few years.
I kinda feel the same way in your comparo as with my Vipe and SRT8, similar DNA, diff purpose, equal fun!

A good friend of mine has a black 300 SRT8 - menacing looking car for sure. You have some MB DNA in that SRT8 as well.

Of course I got there pretty late (I was the red E30 M3 on Georgetown pike going the opposite way).

Anyone see this Porsche Spyder hiding in the top lot?
