1914 Pierce-Arrow @ Katie's, 07/30/11
Since I was out of town, I didn't see the 1914 Pierce Arrow that was at Katie's on 07/30/11. Luckily, a friend came through with some cellphone pics.
A beautiful automobile, but not the oldest vehicle we've seen at this C & C. I believe that record is still held by the DeDion-Bouton motorized trike, listed as an 1899 model, which we saw at Katie's last Fall.

I haven't been in a couple of weeks, but I second (or is it fourth or fifth by now?) the bull**** of leaving flyers or cards 'On' someone's car. I don't mind as much someone tossing their business card through my open window onto the drivers seat -although it still kind of feels like their using my car as a trash can- but someone who is trying to sell me something being so presumptuous to Touch my car..... no way Jose. It's bad enough when someone touches it out of 'ignorance' but someone who should know better, doing it in a sales attempt. Not on your life.
The next time I'm down I'll have to stay a bit closer to my car and really get on anyone trying to pull that crap.

What if I come over to your house and rev the engine, do a burnout and donuts next to your window?
