Cars and Coffee - Great Falls, VA
So I was on my way with a friend and my car just shut off on GW Parkway. I was very unhappy about this after waking up this morning to go. I had to have the car towed to BMW of Fairfax and so far I need a new battery which is $550 and now they are telling me I have a problem with my charging system so I most likely need a new alt for $1700.
What a way to spend a Saturday!

Today was a great turnout. Main lot, side lot, and upper lot all full. The Renault Turbo2 came out, as well as the VW Rallye Golf with the R32 swap, the old VW with the WRX (STi?) engine, plus an old truck with a dump bed, suicide doors, alligator seats...oh yeah, and a mid-mounted Corvette engine! Lots of the usual cars were there with a few new ones here and there. I'm working on my pics now.
Yes - I was told it had a small-block Ford V8, stroked to 427ci, it had a ZF trans, and a custom-built chassis.
