I decided to go ahead and spec out and order the GT2RS since it's 6 months out and will probably pick up something in the meantime.

I spec'ed out Red with black wheels, but the seat choices I have are Sport Bucket seats (the same ones the GT3RS has) or Active Seats (same ones as the Turbo I believe). Never had Sport Seats but they sure do look uncomfortable. I don't plan on tracking this car so...

Thoughts?

 

I have sport seats in my 3 right now and had them in my previous car. While I don't think they are uncomfortable I sure wish I had the RS seats. The sport seats are perfect for what you would be doing with the 2 RS, but I would still get the 3 RS seats. You could always sit in some at a local dealership.

 

SPORT SEATS!!!! You'll need them for all those G's you'll be pushing in the corners on 495...

 

Aren't the RS seats suppose to give you more support for cornering, etc? Or is it just for weight savings?

 

I always thought they were for both..?

EDIT: just went on the GT2 RS micro site and while it shows both the RS seats with the carbon fiber and the regular sport seats the description of the two seats are the same, somewhat confusing.
