I was just thinking last night how awful all the roads are. I'm pretty sick of driving a white car around but I don't want to wash it yet because it will just get covered again. 1/22 sounds good. Can a ricer come if it is transporting a photographer?

 

Bummer on Ikea. Anyone still up for Tysons at 1 pm and a cruise around after. I'm in Arlington, VA. and the roads look pretty good and will look even better by Saturday I am thinking with the temp up into the 40"s. I can't take another week looking at my car just sitting there . Hope someone is game.-Rogue

 

I am very much up for it. The 99 titanium is not coming out of hibernation, but I would bring another fun vehicle to Tysons. It is also a "meatballer", so that there would be two of them with yours. Actually, I just bought it a week ago. It is a six-year old car, so I am taking it on Saturday morning to another car group event (also in Nova) for some initial maintenance work. I will go directly from that event to the proposed Tysons meeting. Let me know if you are definitely going to Tysons. It would be fun to meet there with another R owner.

 

From what I understand the Tyson's meet is still on, right Berk?

 

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm still planning on bringing out the Viper and some friends from the NOVA sports car club to the Tyson's portion.

We can still meet up in Tyson's if you guys want at 1PM on Saturday, but the issue is it looks like we'll be getting flurries in the morning, so the roads will be salted up again. So, I think it might be best just to move all of this to a consolidated date of the 22nd event you've got set up brother......thoughts.....

 

Makes sense. I will definitely post both locations for next weekend as the BIG meets, but I know that there are a few that still want to come out to Tyson's at 1pm. Although it should be said that we are fairly reckless group (with the accident history to prove it).

 

Yes anyone who comes out please be careful, lost two corvettes last time out before they made the meet. This will probably be my last time out until Feb with snow and rain in the forecast for the next two weeks. The R will be down in first part of Feb for modification work. Should have just purchase a 996 for as much money that IPD and Viva are sucking out of me.

Any thoughts on Nissan GTR? They are popping up for pretty good prices with low miles on them.-Rogue
