I read the article posted and it can be interpreted as such, they are tying in the C & C into part of a lifestyles theme fueled by capitolism harvested from federal contracting dollars.

it's not a direct inference it's kinda suggested among many other things the CnC is bundled in there in a disguised undertone...

now that they've taken a whack at great Falls it's only fair that Howard Co get a crack as well with the Maple Lawn CnC ... I'm bringin my VW!!! lol

Don't forget the East Coast Indoor Nationals in Timonium, MD is this weekend. Chris Cowan had the idea to go to Maple Lawn C&C first, then head up to Timonium. There are plenty of food places in that area too if we wanted to grab food afterwards.

Yup. It's a badass event. All pre-1973 cars from antiques to hot rods to classics and muscle cars.

Looks like I might get dragged to Katie's after all (still unclear really), but yeah it'd be cool to get a group together and drive over. Is there a convenient place that a Katie's group can meet you guys for lunch? Definitely don't want to complicate things though.

If I can get some sleep tonight, I may try to catch you at Katies or somewhere off the interstate (if you don't go to Katies) and cruise up with you.

I'll keep you posted

Actually it turns out I'll be helping Sunir swap wheels on his SL55 so I'm not sure exactly when we'll be heading over there. Probably won't be until the late afternoon.

I may swing by. Looking to move out of the M Coupe as I have had my fun. Now focusing on either a GT500 or vette. Will use this weekend to test drive and go from there.
