nope...we stay at maple lawn till 10 or 11

 

^^^ I got an email from Clay Carroll (organizer for the car show) he wants us there as early as possible...so figure you guys come down to Maple Lawn as early as you can so we can leave early. When can you guys make it to Maple Lawn?

 

well, so we can do katies (7:00-8:30a) then drive to maple lawn (9:00ish to 10:30am) then drive to the show and be there by 11:00am. No?

 

^^ YEah that was what I was thinking also...email Clay and see what he says...I got the impression he was trying to tell me it's a first come first park situation and he seemes to be stressing to get there early and how important placement was for the event.. I dunno... He even mentioned about dropping the car off Fri night to get it in a good spot... but we need our cars fro Sat morning so that sounded unfeasible...

 

I think as long as you let him know that you want a "leave early" spot then you should be good. Also, I know he wants to know who is attending by Friday night, so if you're planning on being part of the show, then please send him an email by then. Actually, if you're planning on coming then please also post here so we can get a count. thanks.

Just to update, I'll be at Katie's from 7:00ish to 8:00ish....then drive over to Tyson's Corner Starbucks (8520 Suite D, Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA) if anyone else from the area wants to meet up there...leave there by 8:30am to drive up Maple Lawn. Sound reasonable?

Maple Lawn until 1030am
Beltway Show until whenever

This doesn't sound like a lot to do.. anything else going on today? (lol I kid I kid).
I'm totally game for anything that day so I'll be tagging along with others.

I don't think anyone pre-paid, but Clay does want you to pre-register by tonight. If you're on the list when you get there then you pay $10 if not then it's $15 for you.

Yep, there is. He said it was "next door."

 

Cool. I'm going to try to hit this event but I'm not 100% sure yet.
