Hey everyone, someone contacted me about a show coming up at the end of the month. There is a small charge ($10 for pre-registration, $15 the day of), but as these things go, it's for a good cause. It could also be a good chance for the VA and MD folk to get together. I imagine we would just cruise up after Katie's and/or Maple Lawn. I'm definitely in. I think it would be a good chance for us VA guys to get together with the MD folk. we could do a little castaway critters reunion.

 

^^well sounds good I'm in also...why don't you guys from Katies come over to Maple Lawn from Katies leaving there at around 8:30am puts you guys at Maple lawn wound 9:15 and we all meet up at Maple Lawn and roll there to the show together...?

If none of you have seen this motel...it's very interesting (a dump). But I just read the reason for the car show...and it's a worthwhile cause.

 

^^ never seen it....as long as the parking lot is good and not full of rocks and cracks or whatnot, should be ok...and like you said it's for a good cause.

 

Thanks for the info. Yeah, I was worried about that. I guess we'll have to see how things go.

Also, I have another update/reminder...if you want to show your car then you'll want to pre-register by sending Clay an email to: "claycarroll24@yahoo.com." Please mention whether or not you're planning on staying for the whole show or leaving early. If you plan on leaving early (as often happens at these things) then he'll make sure you get a spot that's easy to get out of.

Also, you won't pay until the day of anyways, so there is really no reason to NOT pre-register. If you decide to bail then it won't cost you anything. There is plenty of parking close to the event for spectators so you can always just do that and enjoy the show all the same.

Again, I have no affiliation with the show at all...I was just tapped to help get the word out.

If the Maple Lawn C&C starts at 7:30a and we show up at 9:15am then aren't we arriving too late?
