Welcome to the area! You're kind of grasping at straws I think. It sounds like there are a few things you need to do....1) decide if the Audi TT is the car you want (check reviews, and forums and ask owners - there may be a few TT owners on here, but it wouldn't be where I would go to get information on them). So, that seems like the second part of your post. 2) If you decide that's the car you want, then you need to find an actual car (which the second part of your post alludes to). For that, you'll obviously want to get a pre-purchase inspection by an audi dealer. It's definitely worth the money. Best of luck in your search.
My wife drive a 04 TT 3.2 quattro. IMHO it's great for her but I don't care for it. The 1.8 turbo is weak stock. The car understeers pretty bad... Like another member said... Cute car. Makes her happy. I will stick with the Q7 and my other TT...
DTM?
i know TTs are under power cars... but moving from LA to DC means having to adjust to slower driving speeds anyways... also know that it doesn't snow that much in DC to 'really need' AWD... used to drive a mr2 when i lived in chicago, but it would be a nice to have anyways... i figured the TT was a nice little car to drive... (if the evoque turns out to be a nice car i might trade in the TT for that...)
unless there's a awesome deal on a 996 or 997 c4 around the area... i'm just not a big fan of bmws... and find the xi just a tad bigger than what i want... if i'm gonna go bigger than a coupe, i'd like to have a small suv... any suggestions??
