Looking for a Body Shop in the D.C. area.
the body shop I used to go to in the DC area one got shut down in Beltsville, MD and the other one left suburban autobody and I heard rumors Bubba open a new shop some where in the NOVA area. I don't have any information on it.
(2) of my vehicles need body work (dents on the crease) and my sister vehicle need her front bumper to be pushed back out if possible.

I've been happy with the work done for me at D&V Autobody in Sterling. I've also recommended them to others who also were pleased. The do all makes, but have a lot of exotics as clients. www.dandvautobody.com (703) 661-8546. Ask for Kevin. Straight shooter!

IMO both D&V and EuroPros are good and both in the tops production body shops in the area. From what I've seen - which is obviously limited sample - I'd say paint finish coming out of D&V is better, but if a had a really wrecked car and needed welding or frame or esp. aluminum work done I'd prob. opt for EuroPros b/w the two.
D and V can be very good but you need to stay on them constantly and if you don't have a good eye you will miss the overspray and tape marks. I had my CL repaired there and it took a few tries to get it right. I didn't notice little things until after a year or so...painted right over the black rubber hood mounts and over tightened the front quarter panel so it eventually cracked at the stress point.

Something like that, even if paint finish was otherwise flawless, I can tell you without doubt would take in the four figures off the price of a car like a CL no matter what year car (unless otherwise totally trashed) at wholesale auction with professional buyers, and that ain’t good.
And worst part is removing them prob. would have taken 10 min. max. Even if it was an employee just f-ing up, someone in the chain of command for quality control should catch stuff like that…. Tisk tisk Kev….. I’d still recommend you without reservation. LOL
Take it back to them if you still have it. If they won’t fix it then I’d really say you have a legitimate gripe.
I was real thorn in Kevins side bringing the car back to him every time i washed the car and found something new. I think I soured the relationship the day i went to pick up the car when it was finished. The car was in the back lot so I walked behind the building to check it out and there was a little Mexican guy who didnt speak english painting the front bumber with a paintbrush! He mustve scratched it when he parked the car. I went to complain to Kevin and his first response was "what were you doing in my back lot?" I knew things weren"t going to go well. Needless to say I had to wait a little bit longer for the car so they could "rub out" the scratch. Kevin is a really good guy though...
