2012 C & C - Great Falls, VA - Katie's
Bmw z1
I was told that the Z1 belongs to a guy who runs a BMW shop in Maryland, and it just arrived last week. It has Austrian plates, and a rally decal from Croatia.

Katie's, 12/22/12
Cold and blustery this morning, and... three days before Christmas! The smallest turnout in months, but still an interesting bunch of people and their cars.

I had no idea they had a model called 'Zeppelin'!
(Or, maybe this was Jimmy Page's car.)

Yeah, pretty rare. Last time I saw one was a guy in a 57 cruising through Georgetown like five years ago.
To note, Maybach is calling it quits in 2013. From Wikipedia:
"Daimler announced in November 2011 that Maybach will cease to be a brand by 2013. This is due to poor sales, Maybach have only sold 3,000 cars since their revival in 2002. [2][3] The decision follows almost a decade of trying to make Maybach a profitable rival to Rolls Royce and Bentley. Maybach will be replaced by new and more luxurious models from the Mercedes brand, which is also owned by Daimler."
