I finally was able to get out last weekend and play 36 over the weekend. If other golfers are out there, let's go hit em!

 

I keep meaning to really learn to play... Picked up a set of irons off a buddy, and a golf bag from Mario... Just have to get some woods!

 

I'm your Huckleberry. Work's been keeping me away from the links though, likely be a few more weeks before I'll be available to head out. Where do you prefer to play?

 

I actually play all over the DC area, but mostly on the MD side. There probably isnt a MD public course I haven't played, and usually end up at the course out 270 (Whiskey Creek, Worthington Manor, Little Bennett, etc) or Mont Co (Hampshire, Blue Mash)

I'd love to be able to play something private if anyone will have me (shameless plug )

 

I play disc golf. Yeah...I'm just a long-haired freak. They wont have me at those "real" golf courses.

 

I took Thursday and Friday off and Ill be out playing Golf at Westfields and possibly Raspberry Falls. Look for the 996TT with the clubs hanging out the window!

 

See that's where you're wrong, they'll gladly let you tend to the lawn care. I just wear a hat and long sleeves to get past the starter before we tee off.

I was at the driving range for lunch not long ago.

 

I drive a mean golf cart and I can flirt with drink-cart girls really well. Oh and I can drink beers too. Just saying if anyone needs a cart driver.

 

I golf, well sort of... I can start golfing again in June according to the doctor... I can't wait...

 

I try and love it but it's a battle to stay sharp. I'll be 52 next month and have a goal to qualify to play in the MD senior open next year. I need to get my handicap down to an 8.5 and have never been below a 10. I'm not even close to that now. I'll play whenever someone asks

 

How often you play?

 

Maybe this should be in Berk's got a guy thread, but I'm looking for an instructor in Montgomery county. It's hard to find opinions about the myriad of teaching pros out there. Does anyone have one they've used or heard good things about? I'd prefer one in the Gaithersburg/Rockville areas.

 

I just started playing golf last year so I'm not too good yet, but I now I'm an addict. In fact I'm getting ready to go to the range right now to get my fix.
