Reston Town Center Weekly Midday Feast!
Reston Town Center Weekly Midday Feast!
RTCMF!
Wednesdays at 11:36:25AM
Reston Town Center
(Corner of Library St. and Bluemont Way, Reston VA 20190)
A few of the guys have expressed an interest in doing lunch in RTC so let's do this! We meet up monthly and aim for sunny days, and what better time than mid-week to escape the office for a feast of kings among great cars and greater people. The parking is spacious, great photo ops up here, and the food is rather good too. I work in the building above so if you see cars and no people, just wave your arms a lot at we'll see you.
Exotic in the shop? Bring your daily driver and fill your gizzard with the food of life-size restaurants in real time! Don't have an exotic? Tell us it's in the shop and we will believe you! Meet potential future business partners that could change your life! Ladies, there will be tons of single young men with nice cars here! Anything can happen in Reston Town Center.
There's lots of crazy schedules out their in everyone's careers and it therefore makes it difficult to hold such an event on a weekly basis. As such we're going to plan for a monthly event. More time to plan, more to look forward to, more people can come out, and everybody wins cake.
TBD will be the next pending weather (Which was described as oppressively hot) and I'll try to keep everyone updated.
Eat Here!
Mon Ami Gabi
Uncle Hulio's Rio Grande
Big Bowl
Passionfish
The Counter Burger
Uno's
Busara Thai
Jackson's (their french dip will change your life)
Clyde's of Reston
McCormick and Schmick's
Morton's (very jeans-tolerant for lunch!)
...and many more!
(those in red are marked for delicious)
Overhead view!

Park Here!
(Garage above Jackson's)

The entrance with the red arrow has the least number of speedbumps.
The entrance with the blue arrow has the least speed bumps if you plan on parking in the basement (rainy day?)
Note these are the lowest bumps available on the market and are the height of the long side of a VA driver's license (~4"). I clear them in a stock NSX, I've seen 430's stock up there, and a Murcielago with front lift. Just keep going up to the roof and be careful for crazy people on cell phones cutting corners like it's F1. The roof is almost always empty and spots are spacious and anti-door-dingworthy. The garage is free and public after 10:30AM on weekdays and all weekend.
I look for people to show up starting around 11:30ish until close to noon, the earlier the better for a head count so we can reserve tables. Hope to see you next week and onward!

Dude RTC has a ton of places to offer for great food...it's a little far for me unless I am out that way for a meeting or something...
mon ami gabi is awesome, love their skirt steak or poulet frittes....used to brunch there all the time back in '06 with a girl I was seeing, we went to the Bethesda location.

... check your radiatior on a hot day, you will be sitting in traffic for a while VA to bethesda is the worst part...and no ICC to help!
I have faith in you sir! The magic secret is to get past the ALB before noon hits, though the metro construction has made the beltway a mess recently.
