Which wheels for my car?
Come at me Sunir!
Buncha pussies up in here...don't get stockers Christopher. Sure, they look nice, but they look nice on 10,000 other 3 series in the DMV. Go out on a limb, and stand out from the crowd. While those 7 series may seem played out on your Bimmer forums, I can assure you they aren't in real life
They're aren't quality used aftermarket wheels out there for you? I gotta believe there's a huge market for that

Or those Foragio Parlaros. I bet they look nuts spinning.
Chris I gotta say the 7 series wheels look amazing! If you can't spring for the hre wheels (cliffs deal is really good for hre wheels) then consider the csl wheels, or the te37 Volk reps they look mean on that car...and if not those then the concave 7 series look very hot!! Powder coat them in white or black chrome m5 wheel color and on your black car they will look so incredible!!
Haha yeah no way in hell I'd ever go with white wheels. Although in the near future I will be putting Akebono dustless brake pads on my car so hopefully that will help a little bit.
Hey Tonk,
Personally when I choose rims I make sure not to follow a bandwagon or something that is popular in any community. I've always thought putting rims from a different model of car on your car looks very weird, that's why I wouldn't go with the 7series rims. They are nice looking rims, but look strange on a m3.
If at all possible, try to avoid knockoffs. Yes it does save money, but I wouldn't trust them at all. Rotas are notorious for being very low quality, and just don't look good compared to the real thing. Yeah it is more expensive to get non replicas, but thats how rims/tires goes - it is quite expensive and is usually the LAST thing I do to my cars. Whenever I price out rims/tires, I always wind up over $4k easily (and you still have to drop it!! another $1000 for lowering springs + alignment, or $3000 for coilovers + alignment)...$4k - even for the 355 - goes a long way towards engine mods (gruppe M intakes, mmmmm).
If I had rotas, it would eat away at me if I saw another car with the real rims on them. It was like back when I had my 996, everytime I passed a 996tt I clenched my teeth.
Dunno if you have Forza 4, but that game is awesome for getting an idea of how different rims look on your car. I'm not sure if your generation of m3 is in that game or not....

Here's another use...
I am really liking the E39 M5 wheels man, they look good. My previous E46 M3 look exactly like the one in the first picture, black with OEM 19 inch wheels, I liked the look a lot also and cleaner. Since you are on a budget, either of these will be great man.
