Hey, guys!

I'm obviously new to the forums, but I was told that you all may be able to help me.

My boyfriend's birthday is at the end of the year. (Last week of November), and I was hoping I could find a nice exotic car to rent for a few hours one evening to take him out to dinner in.

I am looking for something in Southern Maryland area or D.C/Baltimore/Annapolis. Anything really! My problem is that I am not 21, let alone 25, so the rental places will not rent to a 18, almost 19 year old. I was hoping someone on the forum would be able to help me by letting me rent/borrow their car for a few hours one evening the end of November/beggening of December.

I am willing to pay any money, fill up the gas tank, supply you with my driving record, etc.

There are several well known show-up-and-drive-exotics type places around if you have the $$, some at tracks like Vegas, some at various resort type locations.

 

sounds like a plan for disaster. teenagers driving an exotic. earn your right and wait.

Christina - You are not going to get anyone willing to lend their exotic to a stranger, let alone a teenager. Are you aware that most exotic rentals cost around $1,500-$2,000 a day? If you're willing to spend that kind of money on a car rental, why not plan a crazy getaway vacation, or a really nice dinner and some nice new clothes for him?

Or just get a him a pizza, a 12-pack of Mountain Dew and an XBox video game and he'll be just as happy.

 

Very thoughtful of you but I'll echo what others have said. Tonk has a good suggestion as far as the getaway.

 

Wow thats a really nice gesture, Tonk has a great idea buy him something with the money ... Like forza 4 if he's into cars. It's thoughtful what you're trying to do and Your bf is lucky to have someone who wants to do something like this for his bday... wish I had a gf as thoughtful when I was 18!... but for a guy like your bf there's probably other things that he would want over a ride to dinner in an exotic car for a couple of hrs.

 

You should be asking your parents for help with this, not strangers on a message board. If you actually have the $1,500 to pony up for an exotic rental and your parents are letting you waste your money like this, then by all means, let them rent it for you.

Damn it's Friday morning, I'll start. How about I'll take you both for a ride but he sits in the back and you sit in the front with me.. Lol. IMHO, I think there is more to this than her asking you guys for your cars to take her bf out. THERE IS NO BOYFRIEND! I'm willing to bet that if you show up in your exotic car, she'll tell you that she just dumped her boyfriend. Good luck Christina.
