Some Saturdays, one car at Katie's is the obvious star of the show - we've had a Bugatti Veyron, a Saleen S7, a Scaglietti Corvette, and a Porsche Carrera GT each fill that role in the last year or so. Sometimes, like today, the depth of impressive cars is what makes it a special day.
Today:
It's hard to beat the simple beauty of the original Maserati Ghibli, and this navy-over-ivory example is perfect in my eyes. We also had two different models from a tiny firm - an Italia and an Apollo, both from Carrozzeria Intermecannica. The Italia has a 351 Ford V8, and the Apollo, the old Buick aluminum V8. We also had a Cunningham there today. Another special car there today was the Mercedes SLR McLaren.
All in all, a really good morning!

Based on the good weather forecast which currently has weather as sunny and in the 70s from 6a-9a on Saturday, I would guess it will be a very good showing!

PS: There is an interesting Ford Focus(I believe) track car for sale parked alongside Georgetown Pike on the way to Katie's from I495. I have never stopped but have been interested. Anyone have any info on this car?
