Leaving the Frederick, MD area around 9:30 Saturday morning (weather permitting) with the Diablo. Heading up Rt 15. Anyone else coming from this area let me know and I'll gladly set up an easy meeting spot so we can convoy up together. There is strength in numbers. I'd hate to be ambushed by a Prius gang on the way up.

 

If you get on the road a bit earlier, and head East on 30, we would be happy to have you for my 'Breakfast in the Garage II' and then caravan up with a fantastic group of cars. I would love to have another Lamborghini in the mix too. Maybe bum a ride off ya at some point.

Anyone looking to convoy up from the Frederick, MD area, I will be at the commuter lot just off of Rt 340 on the Mt Zion Rd exit just southwest of Frederick. Another attendee from Leesburg, VA will swing through and "pick us up" at about 7am. From there we head up to the Burger King just off Rt 15 in Thurmont MD (by 7:30 or so?) and head to Breakfast in the Garage 2.5 in York, PA before heading off to Supercars on State Street 2013.
I'll be in a black Diablo. Shouldn't be too hard to spot in an empty commuter lot.
Copy and paste directions from the commuter lot to our brief stop in Thurmont. Maybe it'll work......maybe it wont.

I initially had the same problem, until I mentioned that there were plenty of other people willing to get up earlier to take a free ride in a Diablo for free breakfast and then look at millions of dollars worth of supercars.

Are they still meeting at City Island? I'm a bit confused by Evan's last update. Read the page below:

Makes it sound like we are no longer staging at City Island due to a scheduling conflict but will meet directly at State St.

 

Thanks for the heads-up. I guess this changes my departure time a little bit. That's great that BIG v2.5 is still a go however I may not be able to make it as plans have changed and I may meet another driver before heading up to State Street. Let's just hope that nice weather will prevail on Saturday.
